Reports of and heading for divorce have left everyone shocked. There have been speculations and unconfirmed reports suggesting that they are going to officially part ways. Govinda and Sunita have been married for 37 years and these reports shattered hearts of many as they were steadfast in their relationship. Both of them have maintained stoic silence over these reports. However, it appears that Govinda’s manager has confirmed the news of them having issues.
While speaking to Etimes, Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha shared that the actor and Sunita have been facing some issues and also revealed the reason behind it. He said, “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members from the family. There is nothing more to it and Govinda is in process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it.” The same report also had a source claiming that Sunita sent a separation notice to Govinda a few months ago. However, there has not been any movement since then.
The portal got in touch with Govinda. The actor didn’t divulge much and simply said that he is in process of starting his new films.
Meanwhile, another report in Times Now suggests that Govinda wants to give a second chance to their marriage, however, Sunita is reluctant.
While there are several rumours and speculations, the family has maintained complete silence over the same. Even kids Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja have refrained from commenting on the reports.
Govinda and Sunita have been married for 37 years. They tied the knot in 1987. They often spoke about the challenges their marriage went through given Govinda’s stardom. In one of the interviews, Sunita also mentioned that they are living separately as they prefer different lifestyles.
