According to Sacnilk, Good Bad Ugly starring Ajith Kumar has earned approximately Rs 11.47 crore on day 3 of release, making the total earning of around Rs 44.25 crore within just three days. While Salman Khan starrer Sikandar has shown a decent performance at box office and minted around Rs 19.5 crore on the third day of release.
On Friday, the makers of Good Bad Ugly announced that the film has smashed box office records by achieving the highest opening day in Tamil cinema history with over Rs 30 crore in collections and impressive occupancy rates. Good Bad Ugly is cementing its status as one of Tamil cinema’s biggest hits, credit goes to its captivating storyline and talented cast that led to impressive box office numbers registering its name in the industry’s history books.
As per Sacnilk, superstar Salman Khan’s Sikandar which was released on Sunday coinciding with Eid-Ul-Fitr maintained a good hold at the box office on Day 3 of release. Even Though, the film faced a dip in numbers during weekdays, the reports suggest the film made around Rs 19 crore. Despite Salman Khan’s massive following, Sikandar’s box office numbers, while decent, fell short of expectations, leaving some disappointment given his typically high success rate. The film features Salman Khan along with Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Agarwal and others.
Good Bad Ugly had made an exceptional start, earning Rs 29.25 crore on its opening day, with a worldwide gross of Rs 51.40 crore with strong occupancy rates in Tamil Nadu, and overall Tamil occupancy of 79.47% on its first day. The highest turnout of night shows was recorded at 88.81%, showcasing the film’s impression among local audiences. Telugu occupancy was comparatively lower at 16.98%, but the film still managed to draw significant attention across regions.
Sikandar, by the end of three days registered its total collection at Rs 74.5 crore India net. With its worldwide business, the movie had already crossed the mark of Rs 100 crore in three days. Sikandar;s day occupancy in the main region was around 16.50% in NCR, 13.25% in Pine, 22.25% in Mumbai. The film has an overall 19.24% occupancy on day 3 with occupancy of night show recorded at 25.89%.
