The career arc of Balayya has been tremendous to say the least. From making mediocre and below our films, which consequently rubbed into his off-line image, Balayya is now one of the reputed stars who is loved by one and everyone today.
After Akhanda, Balayya changed the name of the game for good and he started focusing more on quality content. Akhanda was followed by Veera Simha Reddy, Bhagawanth Kesari, and Daaku Maharaaj as he clocked four consecutive box office winners on the trot.
While this cinematic journey has been going extremely well, Balayya moulded his offline persona as well. With his unfiltered and straightforward aura, he became a darling for the youngsters like Vishwak Sen, Siddhu Jonnalagadda and others. He’s equally loved by many now.
To top it all off, Balayya was conferred with the Padma Bhushan award last night, and this pretty much signifies his meteoric rise to the top in recent times. The good work done through Basavatarakam Cancer hospital which saves 1000s of poor lives every year could’ve instigated this award.
On the other hand, the political journey of Balayya also hit a pinnacle point with him completing a hattrick from Hindupur assembly constituency and also with Telugu Desam regaining power in Andhra Pradesh, along with Janasena and BJP.
And of course, we have the super hit OTT talk show Unstoppable which has been displaying the untapped side of Balayya and bringing him close to everyone. This helped change the public perception of Balayya as the misconception that he was an arrogant man got completely dismantled and everyone got to see the loving and straightforward side of Balayya.
This officially earmarks the Balayya era with his umpteen success in films, politics, OTT and public service. This really is a golden period for the Nandamuri hero.
