In the movie, SRK has lent his voice to Mufasa and his elder son Aryan is back as Simba. But what’s exciting is the new addition. SRK’s youngest son, , has also joined the cast as baby Simba. In 2019, Shah Rukh and Aryan lent their voices for Mufasa and Simba for The Lion King.
In an interaction, SRK opened up about AbRam Khan being a part of Mufasa: The Lion King. When asked what AbRam felt when he was offered the Hindi film, SRK revealed that his son said, “Main hi karunga aur kaun karega, (I will only do it).” Further, revealed that Gauri, Aryan, and Suhana were also equally excited like AbRam.
“I don’t know how to explain it, but because we’ve done this before, first the Incredibles, then The Lion King and Aryan were there, and I was there too. So, when AbRam got the chance, it just feels like it’s a continuation of our family, said the superstar. As reported by Pinkvilla, the Jawan actor said that having AbRam in Mufasa: The Lion King is quite personal for him, as he is going to be the Lion King and his son is going to be Baby Mufasa.
Mufasa: The Lion King was released in theatres on December 20, 2024. SRK’s next is an action thriller titled King. The movie was earlier supposed to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh. However, the latest reports suggest that Pathaan director Siddharth Anand will helm him. SRK’s film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan in pivotal roles. The shooting is expected to start in 2025 and the movie will hit theatres in 2026.
