He asked a male contestant a ‘disturbing’ question about ‘sex with parents.’ The controversial question was, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” These comments got him a lot of hate. He was trolled and many big personalities slammed him. CM Devendra Fadnavis also bashed him for his choice of words. FIR was also filed against him and the others who were a part of the show.
However, some feel that people are being too harsh on the YouTuber. Urfi Javed, Kashish Kapoor, Dhruv Rathee believe that there are more important topics to discuss than bashing Ranveer. They also believe that there is not need for an FIR as he is not a criminal.
Now, a video of Ranveer is going viral where he is seen crying. He is seen breaking down because of loss of work. In the video, he is seen saying, “Mujhe isliye bura lag raha hai kyunki sab kaam band ho gaya (I feel bad because all the work has stopped). I just feel I am guilty. Poori team ko aise expose kar diya. Meri wajah se poora kaam band ho gaya hai.”
People are thinking that this video is recent one and Ranveer is saying this after the ‘sex with parents’ controversy. But the truth is it is an old video. Ranveer had shared this video three years ago when he had tested positive for coronavirus. In the video, he is seen taking the COVID-19 test and announcing that he has tested positive.
After the India’s Got Latent controversy, Ranveer lost around 40,000 subscribers on both Youtube and Instagram.
