Suniel Shetty opens up about Kesari Veer, while speaking about the recent India-Pakistan war. During an exclusive interview with Filmfare, Shetty shared his stance on the ceasefire deal and quipped about the nationalistic spirit in the country.
Kesari Veer, starring Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi and Akanksha Sharma is scheduled to release in the theatres on May 23, 2025. Filmfare reviewed the movie, giving it a 2.5 stars. Our reviewer noted, “Suniel Shetty brings all his experience to the fore but even his screen presence isn’t enough to elevate the film. The only actor who is having a gala time is Vivek Oberoi as he knows he isn’t responsible for the film’s success or failure. He brings a comic touch to his Muslim invader act and tries to make it interesting. All-in-all, Kesari Veer needed better writing, direction and editing. It’s a clear case of opportunity lost.”
