Director Sailesh Kolanu opened up about HIT 3, saying he was happy with the audience response. He shared that the idea for the film came earlier this year and focuses on multiple crimes committed in the same way. Kolanu mixed investigation and survival thriller elements to make the film engaging.
He added a romantic subplot to build emotional depth and used a slow pace in parts to highlight intense scenes. He said the cop character with blurred lines is fictional and not meant to reflect real-life police.
Kolanu chose to focus on the hero’s journey rather than villain backstories. One scene was inspired by a personal hospital experience, and he kept the music subtle to avoid distraction.
He thanked his team, especially action designers Lee and Satish Master, and revealed plans for HIT 4, a romantic comedy, and a final film that brings all HIT characters together. A proud moment was when Nani praised his work.
