In an era where conversations around mental health are gaining momentum, Hrithik Roshan offers a grounded perspective rooted in empathy and clarity. In an exclusive interview with Filmfare, the actor reflected on the importance of acknowledging psychological struggles and the courage it takes to seek help.
He equated mental health issues to physical ailments, emphasising the need for open dialogue: “When your kidneys don’t function well, you don’t say ‘shhh don’t tell anyone, my kidney is bad.’ You don’t feel embarrassed. You call up the doctor and say ‘hello what’s wrong with my kidney man?’ Similarly, when your brain goes into dysfunction and you can’t think straight and you wonder why you’re not feeling good, call up the doctor. Call up your friends, your mom, your dad… sister, brother and tell them I’m not feeling good. Something’s wrong. Reach out.”
On the professional front, Hrithik is set to reprise his role as Agent Kabir in War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film promises a high-octane face-off with Jr NTR, marking the latter’s Bollywood debut. Scheduled for release
