Post that, he made some unwanted comments. ‘s racist remarks against Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang got him a lot of negative comments. He made fun of Chum’s name and called it vulgar. Hence, NCW (National Commission of Women) decided to take action against Elvish. Recently, on April 22, he appeared at NCW Delhi office after being summoned for his remarks. After coming out of the office, he spoke to the media and apologised in front of everyone.
He said, “Jaise jaise hum life mai grow karte hai, age badhti hai toh maturity aati hai aur jo Chum wala tha usme bohot saarein log aise hai jinko mera intentions samajh nhi aaye.” He further admitted that people might have been bothered by his statements and hence, he went inside and apologised.
