On Sunday, the singer performed in Bengaluru and the videos quickly went viral on social media. However, one act that caught everyone’s attention was when Ed sang the song Chuttamale, from Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s 2024 film Devara.
At the Bengaluru concert, Ed Sheeran invited singer Shilpa Rao on stage and the duo sang Chuttamale. The crowd went wild when they heard Ed sing the Telugu song flawlessly. Ed later shared the unforgettable moment on his Instagram page where he expressed his love for Shilpa Rao’s talent. The Perfect singer captioned the video, “Obsessed with @shilparao’s voice for the last while, a real privilege to share the stage tonight, and learn a new language!”

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran was stopped by a cop on Sunday as he performed outside a church on the streets of Bengaluru. The cop said he didn’t have the permission to perform. But the Shape of You singer took to Instagram to clarify. Ed wrote, “We had permission to busk btw, hence us playing in that exact spot, was planned out before, it wasn’t just randomly turning up. All good though. See ya at the show tonight x”.
