Shahid Kapoor did extensive promotions of this film. During the trailer launch event, the actor called his role in Deva as the “most challenging one”. He said, “This is the most complex character I’ve played. I’ve done challenging roles before, but Deva made me question whether I was capable of pulling this off.” Apart from Shahid and Pooja, stars like Pavail Gulati, Kubbra Sait, and many others play pivotal roles in the film.
