Many trees were uprooted in Delhi, Ghaziabad and Noida while the cities received heavy rains and hailstroms. The gutsy winds and dustorm were followed by rain and hailstorm.

As parts of Delhi experienced a gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and hailstorm, trees were uprooted in several areas of the city.

As per the weather department, Delhi recorded its highest minimum temperature of 30.2 degrees Celsius today.
The The Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of light rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and winds temporarily reaching up to 40 kmph during the thunderstorm, along with dust-raising winds towards evening and night for the upcoming days.
The IMD on Wednesday issued an ‘orange alert’ for several states including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh, with a prediction of rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, dust storms, and gusty winds.
