has been in the news. The lady recently welcomed her first child with Ranveer Singh. She has been enjoying her motherhood phase. We have seen her being more active on social media these days. She keeps sharing quotes and reels on new mothers. She speaks about body positivity and about things new moms face. She has also been voicing her opinions on many other things happening around. Now, once again she has shared her opinion on a controversial remark made by the chairman of a popular company in India.
We are talking about Larsen & Toubro’s chairman, SN Subrahmanyan. He recently made a controversial statement about wanting his employees to come in even on Sundays. He was speaking in an interaction within his company where he was asked why multi-billion-dollar conglomerate requires staff to work on Saturdays.
He then said that he regrets he cannot make his employees work even on a Sunday. He said, “I regret I am not able to make you work on Sundays. If I can make you work on Sundays, I will be more happy because I work on Sundays.”
He further said, “What do you do sitting at home? How long can you look at your wife? Come on, get to the office and start working.” This started the debate around work life balance. People trolled him for his comments about working on Sundays.
Journalist Faye D’Souza shared a post about the same and rehared it on Instagram stories. She wrote, “Shocking to see people in such senior positions make such statements. #MentalHealthMatters.”
Well, this is surely going to be a big matter as many youngsters have opposed such suggestions even when Infosys founder Narayan Murthy spoke about 70 hours of working.
Talking about Deepika, she was seen in Kalki 2898 AD and Singham Again recently. She is currently on a break after the birth of her baby girl, Dua Padukone Singh.
