According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Chhaava collected Rs 40 crore on Saturday. On Friday, it collected around Rs 44 crore collection. On Wednesday, it earned Rs 32 crore and managed to benefit from the public holiday in Maharashtra on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti. Hence, the total collection of the film stands at Rs 326.75 crore.

“It is Maharashtra and Mumbai which has given a new height to Marathi as well as Hindi cinema. And these days, Chhaava is making waves throughout the country (In dino to Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai). The introduction of Sambhaji Maharaj’s valour in this form has been made by Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel,” PM Modi said while addressing Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in New Delhi.
