Celebrity MasterChef has taken the entertainment world by storm as it continues to gain massive fan following and dominates social media chatter, courtesy its incredible challenges and mouth-watering dishes. In the beginning, Gaurav faced severe criticism from the judges for creating a dish that was deemed “uneatable.” However, his determination and “ziddi” attitude allowed him to grow throughout the competition.
In the recent episode, we saw the contestants faced a tough competition. They all were fighting to win the immunity pin. The challenge was in two parts where in the first one they had to cut half kg onions. In the second part, they had to make Farah Khan’s iconic roast chicken. The contestants were given to taste the chicken Farah made but Gaurav could not do so as he is a vegetarian. He was asking others to tell him about the taste. Later, he completed his dish but failed with the presentation. The judges told him that he chose the wrong plate colour and it looked quite off.
Gaurav then told them that he is colour blind and Vikas Khanna was shocked. Farah then said, “What rubbish!” She then asked him if he can’t see Vikas’ blue jacket which was actually red. Gaurav simply said that he sees that the jacket is in between orange and red shade.
Fans haven’t liked this behaviour by Farah and the judges. They have slammed them for making fun of Gaurav’s condition. Netizens feel that the judges should never demotivate a contestant.
