Celebrity MasterChef continues to make headlines. Everyone has been eagerly waiting to see the first episode of the show. This reality show has always been popular and now, the makers have brought in popular celebrities as the participants. The promos of the show are out now and everyone has been going crazy about the way their favourite stars are passionately learning cooking. The BTS videos of these contestants have gone viral and we see that they are being trained to cook different types of dishes.

They are learning new things and are all set to impress their fans. The show will begin from January 27. Farah Khan is the host of the show. Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna will be the judges who will throw some tough challenges to the participants.

, , Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia, , Archana Gautam, Abhijeet Sawant, Dipika Kakar, Chandan Prabhakar, Kabita Singh and others will be the participants. Gaurav spoke to Filmibeat recently about his participation in the show.

He has been loved for his performance as Anuj Kapadia in Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa. He gave us all an iconic character and fans are still unhappy about his exit from Anupamaa. He spoke about why he took up MasterChef after Anupamaa.

He shared that ever since he came in this field, he had decided that he will not repeat that he has done already. He has always chosen different roles. After doing an iconic character like Anuj who ruled hearts despite being in a female driven show, he was confused what he should take up next.

However, when MasterChef was offered to him, he felt that this is a very different show and nobody will ever think that Gaurav will do a show like this. Gaurav added that whenever he does something new, he thinks about how the viewers will a different Gaurav on-screen. But, initially, Gaurav thought that he was called to host and he was shocked to know that he will be participant and cooking for real. He was surprised but then he told himself ‘why not?’

Gaurav shared that he always thinks this way and at the end he will learn something new with this show. He further said that his acting journey has just started and the viewers will see him doing more but now, he is enjoying MasterChef.
