Celebrity MasterChef was one of the most popular shows on television screens that kept audiences hooked. Popular star Gaurav Khanna lifted the trophy along with Rs 20 lakh rupees. Gaurav joined filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan on her YouTube show. The two left the audiences laughing hard with their epic moments.

During the fun-filled episode, Farah revealed that her cook Dilip felt a bit insecure after Gaurav’s appearance. She said, “Dilip ka self-confidence hil gaya hai. Whenever any chef or MasterChef comes, he thinks his job is at stake. Because everyone wants to leave their job and do Dilip’s job!”

Gaurav responded saying, “Actually, I don’t mind staying here. I don’t have a job right now, so I was thinking I can stay here if you want.” Farah replied laughing, “You don’t have to work here. You can come whenever you want, and I will cook for you!”

Farah even recalled how Gaurav’s passion for cooking left his team waiting for him. She said that Gaurav continued working in the kitchen even after the shooting ended. “The team would be worried because they could only go home after he left,” she shared.

She even recalled a moment when she had refused to taste one of his dishes during the show. Gaurav said, “I felt as if I had made some blunder.” He had served mezze platter with lavash, sugarcane chutney, baba ghanoush, and fried brinjals. He then made delicious veg biryani and chhole for Farah. Gaurav said, “It has changed quite a bit. People are praising me and seem surprised,” said Gaurav about life post Celebrity MasterChef. He added saying, “All of them were good with me. Ab apas mein hai toh I don’t know (laughs).”

On the work front, Gaurav played the role of Anuj Kapadia in Rajan Shahi’s show Anupamaa. His on-screen chemistry with Rupali Ganguly was appreciated by all.
