BTS’ fans, who are lovingly referred to as ARMY, haven’t been able to stay calm since they saw their beloved Jin Jin enjoy curry rice the traditional Indian way- eating with his hands. The notable incident of Jin diving into a plate of curry and rice with his bare hands took place on a Korean reality show called Kian’s Bizarre BnB which was released on April 15, 2025.

The show’s host Kian – who often invites guests through playful exploits and delightful chaos – jokingly told Jin that the best way to enjoy the curry and rice is to eat it with bare hands. Yes, that meant they had to say no to spoons and cutlery, and just use bare hands. While other guests Ji Ye-eun hesitated in doing so and questioned Kian’s source of information, Jin on the other hand just casually rolled up his sleeves and dove right into it like a true desi foodie.

This unknowingly wholesome act from Jin has all the Desi ARMY members take to the internet and go crazy over it, so much so that some netizens are demanding the authorities to give an Aadhar Card to the 32-year-old boy band member as he his half desi already now.

One of the fans even took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “As an Indian, I’m dying watching Jin trying to figure out how to eat with his hands!” while another highlight “Kian84 even mentions INDIA while eating with bare hands and even sleeping on those railway beds,” One ARMY hilariously claimed, “That man is never touching chopsticks, forks, or spoons again!”

While talking about future projects BTS’ Jin told Kian that he’s gearing up for his another solo album Echo which is scheduled to come out on May 16 which will be a continuation to his debut solo album Happy which was released all the way back in November 2024.
