While Bigg Boss 18 has begun, Bigg Boss Marathi season 5 has come to an end. The show was hosted by Ritiesh Deshmukh. Recently, the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi season 5 was announced. Suraj Chavan lifted the trophy and won the massive cash prize. It came as a surprise to many as Abhijeet Sawant was the first runner-up. The popular singer was one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss Marathi 5 and he turned out to be the first runner-up. As per reports Suraj Chavan won a massive amount of Rs 14.6 lakh. Yet, it is much lesser than Abhijeet Sawant’s pay check.
As per a report in site Koimoi, Suraj Chavan won the cash prize of Rs 14.6 lakh for winning Bigg Boss Marathi 5. He even got a coupon worth Rs 10 lakh to buy jewellery. Plus, he also got awarded a two-wheeler. The amount is much higher than the pay he received to be on the show. As per the reports, Suraj Chavan received a paycheck of Rs 25000 per week to be in Bigg Boss Marathi 5 house. Given that the show stretched for 10 weeks, he earned an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh. But of course, he is the winner so he’s earned much more than that.
However, the prize money earned by Suraj Chavan is still lesser than what made by staying in Bigg Boss Marathi 5 house. If reports are to be believed, the Indian Idol winner made around Rs 3.5 lakh per week to be in the reality show. He was a part of Bigg Boss for full 10 week, thus, helping him earn a massive amount. Even the second runner-up, received a fat paycheck for her stint in Bigg Boss Marathi 5. Her per week fee was said to be around Rs 3.75 lakh. Thus, for 10 weeks she earned around Rs 37.50 lakh.
Apart from Suraj Chavan, Abhijeet Sawant and Nikki Tamboli, Dhananjay Powar and Ankita Walawalkar were also in top 5 of Bigg Boss Marathi 5. Ankita walked out of the house by taking the money bag that had Rs 9 lakh. The final race to trophy was between Abhijeet, Suraj and Nikki.
