On January 19th, Bigg Boss 18 concluded and we finally got our winner. It was a tough competition between Karan Veer Mehra and Vivian Dsena. But it was Karan who took home the trophy and the massive prize money. Seeing Karan win the show made thousands of his fans happy. The moment Salman Khan announced that KVM is the winner this season, the social media platforms were filled with interesting reactions. Karan’s journey in the house has been quite interesting and fun. But he was also at the receiving end of several accusations.

During his stint in , some people online accused of paying the media to be on his side. The accusations grew stronger after the reporters visited the house. The BB18 winner has finally reacted and slammed these allegations. The actor told BollywoodLife, “Yeh bahut hi stupid si cheeze chal rahi hai jo log bol rahe hai maine media khareed li hai. Media khareedna toh pehli baat hota kya hai yeh batao. Agar mai kisike sath kuch kar raha hu vo camera mein dikhega hi na? Ab media khareed ke mai usko change kar dunga ki maine vo cheez nahi ki usne ki hai. Media came into the house janta ka point of view leke. Toh agar apke dimag mein kuch aur tha toh aap batao media ko toh vo batayenge. This was the exercise simple.”

He added, “Lekin ab hota hai na race mein aap haar rahe ho toh koi na koi bahana banate ho. So this is very stupid. Toh jo bhi threat messages bhej rahe hai media ko aap apne aap ko hi trouble mein dal rahe ho kyunki ek bhi complaint agar kisine kar di, aap behind the bars honge ta court ke chakkar katoge. So please stop it right away. Whoever you are, wherever you are, do not do this. Koi media nahi khareed sakta chahe vo koi bhi ho. Itne paise hote mere paas toh mai khudka channel kholke khudka bigg boss chalake khudko roj trophy dera hota. So please stop being stupid and outrageous.”

Meanwhile, this is the second reality show Karan Veer Mehra won in a span of a few months. In September, he also won the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
