The 18th season, which was launched in October 2024, has kept viewers hooked for three months by offering an interesting mix of drama, controversies, rivalries, intense excitement, and romance. Some contestants didn’t take too long to become fan favourites, while others faced heavy criticism from viewers.

Shilpa Shirodkar was eliminated from Bigg Boss 18 in the mid-week eviction episode. The actress was recently seen interacting with paps in Mumbai. The photographers asked Shilpa about the finale. Sounding enthused about it, Shilpa declared her favourite contestant and reminded paps that the voting line is open till 6 pm. She also asked the photographers who they were voting for. When several mentioned Karan Veer Mehra, Shilpa made a bold statement, mentioning she would also vote for him.

This was a surprising move, as inside the Bigg Boss house, Shilpa’s loyalty to Karan Veer Mehra was often questioned. Many believed she supported Vivian Dsena over Karan. Within minutes, comments section was brimming with interesting reactions.
