Chahat as she appeared on stage, she spoke about coming from a small town and how she is simple and doesn’t even own a car. When she was asked about ‘jail time’ in Bigg Boss 18, it was because reportedly she and her mother got arrested in the year 2020. If reports are to be believed, they got arrested for breaking into her uncle’s home. They even vandalised the property and supposedly even beaten up the uncle. Later on, they were granted bail.
Chahat Pandey has also tried her hands at politics. In 2023, the TV actress contested in Madhya Pradesh State Assembly elections. She was a part of Aam Aadmi Party. However, she did not win the elections. Rather suffered a major defeat.
