Bangladeshi actress Nusraat Faria was arrested at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday. As per local reports, the actress has been accused of being involved in an attempted murder linked to anti-government protests in their country.
She recently played the role of Sheikh Hasina in Mujib: The Making of a Nation. The same enraged many in the country, but the actress noted, “When I learnt of it, I felt like the luckiest person in the country. Because no one has ever played her role onscreen before.”
