While Arshad loved Big B’s performance, he wasn’t much pleased with the way Prabhas was shown in the movie. Warsi said how the actor looked like a joker in it.
As soon as the interview went out, many people started slamming . While some agreed with the actor, some massively trolled him for calling Prabhas a ‘joker’. In an interview with India Today, the actor said that it’s okay as everyone has a point of view. It’s a democratic country and everyone is allowed to speak. Arshad stated that if one is a positive person, negativity will bother them. “However, we have been at a place where stones are thrown, so it doesn’t bother me anymore.”
Further in this entertainment news, about the controversy, Arshad Warsi was asked about switching off comments on social media. The Dhamaal actor said that he doesn’t know how to do it. About the backlash, Warsi quipped he will now praise every movie. “I have decided that I will love every film that I watch. I will love every actor for the rest of my life (laughs).”
After Arshad Warsi’ remarks, the film’s producer reacted strongly. However, director Nag Ashwin took the feedback from Prabhas and requested fans to not troll him. On his social media platform ‘X’, Nag posted, “Let’s not go backwards… no more north-south or bolly vs tolly (Bollywood vs Tollywood)… eyes on the bigger picture… united Indian film industry… Arshad saab (sir) should have chosen his words better… but it’s ok… sending Buji toys for his kids… I will work hard so tweets… that Prabhas was the best ever in K2 (flexed biceps emoji).”
Arshad Warsi will be next seen in the film Banda Sing Chaudhary. Directed by Abhishek Saxena, it also stars Meher Vij. The movie is all set to hit theatres on October 25, 2024.
