Anupamaa TV serial by Rajan Shahi has witnessed a major cast change in recent times. Actors like Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey and others left the show as it took a leap. New actors and characters got introduced while Rupali Ganguly got retained as Anupamaa. Shivam Khajuria entered Anupamaa as Prem. He earlier played the role of Rohit in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the show produced by Rajan Shahi. As Prem in Anupamaa, Shivam has managed to get his ardent fan base. Recently, the actor had to respond to a rumour suggesting that he is producer Rajan Shahi’s favourite.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, star was asked whether he believes so that he is producer’s favourite. He refuted and said that had that been the case, he wouldn’t have been working so much and his leaves would also have been approved by Rajan Shahi. He was quoted saying, “Aisa mujhe koi idea nahi hai ke log kya maante hai. Main toh ye bolunga ki sabse jyda toh main hi kaam kar raha hoon wahan pe. Meri adjustment thi 2 din ki wo cancel hogayi. Mujhe agar voh pet maante hote toh mujhe chutti bhi mil jaati.”

Further, he added that he has great respect for the producer as he guided him in his career. He said that made him believe that he can also do something good in life.

The latest track of Anupamaa is about Prem and Rahi’s love saga. Prem’s family has been introduced. Rahil Azam has entered the show as Parag Kothari who a rich businessman. Zalak Desai has entered as Khyati Kothari. It will turn out that they are Prem’s parents. Will the wealthy Kothari family accept Rahi as their bahu? Or will Anupamaa have to fight yet another battle for her daughter?
