Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa has taken a generation leap. The entire story of the show has changed. Anu lives with the Shah family and now Anuj and Aadhya are not with her. She is searching for Aadhya while she was told that Anuj died in a plane crash. However, Anu does not believe that Anuj is no more. The Shahs hate Anu and even Kinjal is against her now. Only her grandchildren and Bapuji are with her. She also meets Prem who becomes her big support. He takes her to Dwarka where they find Aadhya. Aadhya stays at an orphanage and has changed her name to Rahi. She refuses to accept Anu and expresses her hate for her.
However, later we see Anu gives money to save the orphanage where Rahi stays and hence, Rahi agrees to go to Ahmedabad with Anu. The Shahs and especially Dolly gets irritated seeing Aadhya aka Rahi. The Shahs start taunting her and we see Rahi also announces that she hates Anu and does not consider her mother.
Anu is trying hard to make Rahi hers but is unable to do so. Prem tries to make Rahi understand and bring her back to her mother. We also saw that Rahi had asked Anu to give money for Pinto’s health. Anu was waiting for her money to come from a customer.
Her money came to Toshu who gave it to Baa and they kept it hidden from Anu. Rahi got to know this and decided to steal the money as Pinto uncle’s health was important. Ishani saw her stealing and made a video. Rahi ran away to catch the bus for Dwarka.
Ishani told the Shahs and we saw them taunting Anu for it. Soon, Rahi returns as Prem makes her understand that she shouldn’t run away. In the upcoming episodes of Rajan Shahi’s , we will see that Rahi will return the money and apologise. Anu will shout at Baa for taking her money without informing. She gives money to Rahi for Pinto’s health.
Later, Anu will take Rahi for Dhanteras puja and we will see them dance together. Baa and Toshu will decide to throw Rahi out of the house.
