Anupamaa TV serial has reclaimed its throne on TRP chart. The Rupali Ganguly led show produced by Rajan Shahi is back on number one position. It seems the drama brought in by the entry of the Kothari family gave the much-needed push to the show. Parag Kothari is Prem Kothari’s father. Prem is in love with Anupamaa’s daughter Raahi. Reluctantly, Parag Kothari accepted Prem and Raahi’s relationship. However, in the latest episode, we see Parag getting mighty furious at Prem.
The Kotharis invited the Shahs for lunch and tons of drama unfolded over the past two episodes. Raahi expressed her desire to work and achieve something in life before settling in matrimony. Moti Baa objected and said that women should not try to fill in shoes of men. () stood up for her daughter and got into an a spat with Moti Baa. In today’s episode, Prem came to Raahi’s rescue and argued with his grandmother. The drama escalated leaving Parag Kothari mighty furious. He dragged Prem by collar and threw him out of his home. Parag Kothari disowned his son leaving everyone shocked. He also got nasty saying that Prem is the ‘naukar’ of the Shahs.
In the precap of Anupamaa, we see that Parag Kothari is in no mood to let go of his anger. He asks his mother to choose between – son and grandson. Moti Baa is shocked and falls unconscious. We shall see Prem entering the Kothari house again to meet his ailing grandmother. Raahi and Anupamaa will accompany him. Moti Baa will once again bring up the topic of marriage. She will request Anu to convince Prem and Raahi to get married immediately as it is her last wish. She adds that Prem and Raahi can continue work and achieve their dreams post marriage.
