Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa has taken a leap. The story of the show has changed completely and we saw Shivam Khajuria, Alisha Parveen entering as the leads. Manish Naggdev, Spreha Chatterjee, Ishita Modi, Krutika Desai and others are also a part of the new story. Anu’s life has changed after the leap and she does not have Anuj and Aadhya with her. As per her, Anuj died in a plane crash but she does not believe it. Aadhya stays in an orphanage in Dwarka and has changed her name to Rahi. Aadhya ran away after being accused of killing Dimpy. Anu stays with the Shahs but does not get any respect from them. Even Kinjal is now against Anu. Only her grandchildren and Bapuji have become her support. Anu also runs her Anu Ki Rasoi to earn for the family.

Anu finds Prem who is a really good chef. He becomes Anu’s support and even takes her to Dwarka where they find Rahi. Aadhya aka Rahi refuses to go back with Anu and accuses her of separating her from her father, Anuj. However, Rahi has to go back to Anu as she gets help from her for the orphanage. But at the Shah house everyone is shocked to see her.

They never wanted Aadhya back in the house. Rahi then announces that she will never be Anu’s daughter and nobody will call her Aadhya. The Shahs behave badly with Rahi but she manages to ignore them.
