Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa is in the news. We have all seen a lot of things happening on the sets. The show recently took a generation leap and new actors entered the show. Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen entered as the lead couple along with Rupali. They played Prem and Rahi on the show and were loved by the audience. It did take time for the audience to accept the jodi but eventually, they were getting good reviews on social media. However, the TRPs of the show went down. Prem and Rahi got all the love but suddenly, the decision to remove Alisha was taken.
The actress took to Instagram stories to reveal that she did not quit but was removed. She also said that she was not given any reason and was just asked to stop shooting. Alisha said that she was hurt by the suddent decision and felt bad. She also said that later Rajan Shahi told her poor performance was the reason but she feels that is not true as she got praises from the director and even fans for her work.
Now, Alisha spoke to Telly Talk and shared another shocking thing. She shared that she wanted to work more on the show and removing her overnight is not a right decision. She said, “If you have taken a promise from me that I can’t leave the show for the next three years as per contract, you should have also promised me that you will not remove me from it.”
She said that they played mentally with her dreams and she had a contract in which they mentioned that she can’t leave for three years. However, she said that nobody writes about the replacement point in the contract and they should give surety as well. She said she has worked really hard to reach this position and it is easy to remove someone within seconds.
She further said that Rupali Ganguly didn’t even call her post she was removed. After Alisha, has been cast as Rahi in the show.
