Popular television actress Rupali Ganguly, who plays the role of Anupamaa in the hit show, has been ruling hearts. The actress is quite spiritual and was recently spotted visiting Mahakumbh. She is an ardent devotee of Mahakal and was in Prayagraj with her husband Ashwin Verma and son Rudransh. The beautiful actress took a dip in the Triveni Sangam, and the family was seen attending the religious gathering.
After their spiritual experience, , Ashwin Verma, and their son Rudransh returned to Mumbai. The actress and her family were photographed at the airport. The paparazzi asked Rupali about her experience at the Mahakumbh, and she said, “Bohot acha (It was very nice).”
Rupali added saying, “Sabhi ko jaana chahiye kumbh mai (Everyone should go to Mahakumb).” She even told the paps that brought GangaJal (holy water) from the Triveni River as she said, “Sabke paap dhoungi (Will wash everyone’s sin).” Rupali posed for pictures with her hsuband as she told the paps that the airlines the allowed to get the gangajal in the flight and everyone should get it.
Apart from Ganguly, Shivangi Joshi, Siddharth Nigam, Sourabh Raaj Jain and more popular television stars visited Mahakumbh and took a dip in the holy water. Rupali has been surrounded by controversy after her stepdaughter Esha Verma shared an update on her Instagram story. Esha made serious allegations against Rupali and the actress put a legal case against her. The two were seen fighting against each other when Rupali filed a defamation lawsuit for Rs 50 crore citing damage to her reputation and Esha accused her of physical and mental abuse.
Later, Rupali’s lawyer Sana Raees Khan told the media that they had got interim relief from the court in the defamation case against Esha. Rupali addressed Esha’s claims at an event as she said, “If I say it doesn’t affect (me), it will be a lie. Of course, it affects (me). We are all human beings. It hurts when they say bad things, even behind my back. Those who love me will continue to do so. I believe in doing good deeds because then good things will happen to you now or in the future. Sometimes a bad phase does come, and bad things do happen, but good always wins over that”.
