Shahid Kapoor comes up with an exciting action thriller titled Deva. The film unit launched the trailer today which is creating a unique interest. Billed to be a pakka action thriller, the trailer has all the elements that brings them a commercial success. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in it and what’s surprising is that she gets a blink and miss kind of a role.
The latest trailer is full of action elements and it focuses more on elevating Shahid Kapoor’s character. The movie portrays Shahid Kapoor as a rebel police officer in the movie. He is on a mission to solve a high profile case that has many layers like deceit, betrayal, and a conspiracy.
Pooja Hegde plays a journalist in the movie but her role do not have a big prominence. Going by the trailer and what we hear, she is going to be seen in an unimportant role. She was last seen on the big screen in 2023, in the film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan. The film did not meet with success. The last Telugu film she was a part of is Acharya. Pooja Hegde’s last success was Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and she did not do have any other hit after that.
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur, Deva is slated to release in cinemas on January 31.
