Mr. Tata was known for his down-to-earth nature and kindness towards others. From Karan Johar to Anushka Sharma, several celebrities took to their social media pages to offer condolences. also expressed his sadness over the demise of such a beloved personality.
On his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), mentioned that he ‘just came to learn’ about Ratan Tata’s passing away. The megastar also praised the businessman for being a visionary and offered his respects. Big B also mentioned how they did several campaigns together.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “T 5159(i) – .. just came to learn of the passing of Shri Ratan Tata..was working very late ..An era has ended .. a most respected , humble yet visionary leader of immense foresight and resolve..Spent some wonderful moments with him, during several Campaigns we were involved in together..My prayers (folded hands emoji).” In the comments, Big B’s followers are also paying respects to Mr Tata. He wrote the same caption to share a photo with Tata on Instagram.
Further in this , today, Amitabh Bachchan’s Tamil movie Vettaiyan has hit theatres. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film also stars , Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, and Dushara Vijayan. It is Amitabh’s second release of 2024 and his film with the Thalaivar after a gap of 33 years. Amitabh was earlier seen in the Telugu film Kalki 2898 AD, for which he was tremendously praised for his performance as Ashwatthama. The film also stars Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan.
