Actress Rozlyn Khan has been in the news for the accusations she made against Hina Khan. Rozlyn is a stage 4 cancer suvivior herself and she accused Hina of faking her cancer reports. She believes Hina Khan is not a stage 3 breast cancer patient as people in that stage cannot do heavy activities like scuba diving. She asked Hina to come out in open about her reports and stop painting a rosy picture about cancer. She even challenged Dr. Mandar Nadkarni, who’s a common doctor for both to clarify the situation. Now, Rozlyn remembered the late actor and mentor Irrfan Khan. She shared an inspiring story on how he had given her guidance to not publicise cancer or misuse in media. She also spoke their bond while they worked together in Right Yaa Wrong.
From guiding her about the industry to inspiring her with important life lessons, late actor Irrfan Khan has had a big impact in her life. On being asked more about the same, Rozlyn told BollywoodLife, “Irrfan sir was the most incredible human being. I had the fortune of working around him on the sets of ‘Right Yaa Wrong’ movie that also starred Sunny Deol. I was a part of the BTS team as a college kid and I remember getting paid around 1500 rupees per day. Both of us hail from Jaipur and the moment he realized that, we developed an instant connection. I still remember how we were shooting in Madh those days and like a true gentleman, he would offer to drop me home safely every night since it was difficult to get public transport from there then. He even guided me and told me he could try helping me regarding my admission in NSD which was immense for him to say. I was a young college student who still had to decide what she wanted in life. But coming from him was great. During a period of time of us knowing each other, I got to know about his neuroendocrine cancer. I remember he would often be in pain and I would ask him what happened to which he would tell me about how he had a big disease but he would never talk about it in public, especially the media and in the industry. It was only after his demise that I got to know more details about his cancer. But the reality is I knew about it to an extent from 2010 when he used to describe his pain at that time.”
She further added, “It was from someone as great as him that I understood and realised that one shouldn’t use his disease to communicate about it for media buzz and publicity. He was the epitome of humanity and humble nature. I learnt so much from him at that point of time. The movie had a delayed release and the behind the scenes of the movie never really came out. But I still have my signing contract papers etc and that’s a special memory for me even today.”
Talking about Hina, she has not opened up about this matter yet. in and . Ankita Lokhande had supported Hina and called Rozlyn cheap. Hence, Rozlyn filed a defamation case against her.
