Fresh from the historic success of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is set to commence his next project without taking a huge break. With Trivikram’s project getting delayed, Allu Arjun will soon be teaming up with Tamil director Atlee for his next project.
The Allu Arjun-Atlee film is getting bigger than everyone imagined. The film has been locked recently, and leading Tamil banner Sun Pictures will shell out a humongous Rs 600 crore on this pan-India project, including Allu Arjun and Atlee’s remunerations that crossed the Rs 100 crore mark.
Interestingly, the Allu Arjun-Atlee film will also feature another top star, preferably from the southern film industry. Atlee is said to have penned a reincarnation drama with a period touch for this project. Atlee reportedly approached Hollywood star Will Smith for one of the lead roles, but the actor’s remuneration is said to have made Atlee drop the idea of casting him. The film will also have three popular heroines, with Janhvi Kapoor being the frontrunner to play one of the female leads.
The Allu Arjun-Atlee film will begin its pre-production work in April, and the shooting will commence in the second half of this year. The film, in all probability, might hit theaters in summer 2026. On the other hand, the Allu Arjun-Trivikram mythological magnum opus will be going on floors in 2026, as Allu Arjun prefers to concentrate on one project at a time.
