But what if we told you that Bhooth Bangla has a strong connection? As per the reports, the movie went on floors this month and the shooting is happening in Jaipur. The strong connection is that it is being shot at the same location as Akshay and 2007 horror-comedy that has now turned into such a big franchise. The news report mentions that the team is scheduling a marathon schedule at the Chomu Palace in Jaipur, as the story mainly unfolds in this palace. The team is thrilled to film at the same location they worked on 18 years ago.
Further, the news report by the Pinkvilla entertainment news portal mentions that the entire cast will be present for the schedule. Along with Akshay Kumar, the Bhooth Bangla cast includes Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Asrani, and Rajpal Yadav. The source further informed, “The team will be shooting in Jaipur for almost a month and over 60 percent of the film will be shot in the palace. The film marries horror with humour and the madness unfolds in the house. There are supernatural elements related to the “Bangla,” and it’s Akshay’s character who comes to be in the centre of the madness.”
Bhooth Bangla’s shooting will also take place in Mumbai and London. The source also added that it is also high on VFX as the fantasy horror-comedy is set against the backdrop of Indian mythology. The film is slated to hit theatres in April 2026. This month, Akshay will have his first release of 2025, titled Sky Force. It will release on January 24, 2025.
