The powerful collaboration of Nandamuri Balakrishna and his favourite director, Boyapati Srinu itself is enough to give goosebumps to Nandamuri fans. And when there is a discussion about Akhanda 2, the sequel to blockbuster Akhanda, the stakes simply can’t get higher than this.

To make things far more interesting, Akhanda 2 is coming up with the kind of stuff that was rarely seen on the Indian screens, let alone Telugu screens.

A sizeable portion of the film is currently being shot at the Maha Kumbh Mela with director Boyapati Srinu working on the ongoing schedule along with the rest of the cast and crew. As confirmed by Boyapati himself, the ongoing schedule is shaping up pretty well, and it is drawing to a close today.

Boyapati revealed that a crucial portion of the film is being shot amidst crores of pilgrims at the Maha Kumbh Mela. He added that real footage of the Aghoras is being shot in the Maha Kumbh Mela backdrop.

It is one thing to recreate this vibe through artificial sets and prosthetic make-up Aghoras. But filming in real Mahakumbh Mela locations and using actual footage of Aghoras is going to be a completely different experience.

It appears to be that this Balakrishna film is going to deliver absolute goosebumps on the big screens as we will be witnessing real footage that wasn’t seen before.

This portion could be the most important highlight of the whole film, and this could offer goosebumps, not just hard-core fans, but also the general audiences.
