Ajay Devgn is starting the year 2025 with a heartfelt movie, Azaad. What makes it special is that it is a movie that he has watched growing up watching, the ones with brave heart rebels, guns and horses. What is also special is that his nephew Aaman Devgan makes his debut with Azaad. He stars alongside Rasha Thadani, the gorgeous daughter of Ajay’s co-star Raveena Tandon. The team met the media in Mumbai on Monday and had a heart to heart discussion about the film.
However, what we also spotted was the presence of someone extremely special. It was Ajay and Kajol’s son Yug. The little boy attended the event of the film that stars his father and cousin Aaman. What we also noticed was how comfortable the kid was even in front of the media and so many cameras. Once on the stage after the event wrapped up, he had a lot to talk about with his dad, who was all attentive.
The two truly share a great father-son bond. Ajay had recently revealed that his son discusses dating with him and they are more like friends. And we could see that. What was interesting to note was that Yug must have skipped school day to be at the event. The Christmas and New Year holidays are over and kids are back to school. So seeing him there on a Monday made us wonder if Ajay is looking to give Yug an early introduction into the world of entertainment.
The star kid will turn 15 this year and he has some years before he completes his studies. But perhaps, the idea is to help him see for himself and decide which path to take – if he wants to be in front of the camera like his parents or be behind it. His enterprising father is not just a superstar actor but also a producer and entrepreneur with multiple businesses, within the periphery of entertainment.
They say it’s always good to start them young, and perhaps that’s what Ajay is trying to do with Yug and we feel that’s a wise decision to empower the generation of today to make an informed decision for themselves.
