The year 2025 is surely becoming a year where the younger generation of stars take centrestage. The first month of the year kickstarts with debutants Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani making their Bollywood debut with Azaad. The lead actor Aaman is the nephew of superstar Ajay Devgn, while Rasha is the daughter of Mast Mast girl Raveena Tandon. Their film Azaad also stars Ajay Devgn in a key role. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the new movie promises to be a heartwarming tale of love, friendship and loyalty.

At the trailer launch of Azaad in Mumbai on Monday, the two young stars shared the stage with , Diana Penty, producers Pradya Kapoor and Ronnie Screwvala, director Abhishek ‘Gattu’ Kapoor and Mohit Malik (TV actor who is making his big screen debut). The two came across as confident even though this is their first film and today was their first media interaction. Revealing about the best advice they got ahead of their first film, Aaman said, “The best thing he (mamu Ajay Devgn) has told me is no matter how much success you get, also stay grounded and humble, keep your feet on the ground.” The actor further revealed that while his mamu is fun off the set, he is a hard taskmaster when at work. “He is very strict, you would just want to run away. Whatever I do is not good enough for him and he keeps pushing me to get the best out of me.”

Rasha also shared the best advice that she got from her mother, Raveena, who has been a very important part of the industry. “She has told me to remember just one thing, this is something that Lord Krishna says in Bhagwad Gita, do your best and then leave everything else to God,” quipped the youngster, who has become a rage ever since her first song Uyi Amma from the film Azaad has released. Everyone is praising the debutante and the popular verdict is that “she looks so confident and has such a strong screen presence that Azaad doesn’t look like her first film.” However, she has learnt from her mother how this industry works and how there will be naysayers but she is only focused on giving her best shot, not worrying about the rest.

Well, all we can say is that with such experienced mentors and with a strong belief system, these youngsters look all set to take Bollywood by storm.
