Diwali 2024 was quite Dhamakedaar as two big-budget films released in theatres. by Rohit Shetty clashed with by Anees Bazmee. There was a lot of hullabaloo around this big clash. returned as Singham while returned as Rooh Baba. Much to the delight of fans, both the films did well as they received positive reviews only. Now, Ajay Devgn has opened up on the big clash.
In an interview with section of ANI, spoke about ’s clash with and said that it could not be averted. The actor was quoted saying that despite making many efforts, makers of both the films could not avert the clash. Given the theme of the film, Singham Again makers could not give up on the Diwali date. He added that he never wants any film to clash at the box office as the industry suffers. But he is happy that both the films managed to do well at the box office despite the clash. Singham Again also starred, , , Arjun Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and other in key roles.
Earlier, Kartik Aaryan had also spoken about the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again clash. He was quoted saying, “I appreciate their film, and I will be watching it too. I hope you all support our film as well. Both films have a strong chance of succeeding, I don’t see it as a competition.” He also shared that it is wrong to say that is Singham Again versus Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 as it is not like that. He had then hoped that audiences will give equal amount of love to both the films.
Talking about the box office numbers, both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have performed well at the box office. Both the films are inching closer to Rs 200 crore mark with its domestic business. Now, all eyes are on the second weekend box office numbers. Despite the clash, both the films have managed to score well, thus making it a Happy Diwali for all.
