and have been in the news. They have been one of the most l0ved couples but a lot has been said about their divorce. The couple got married in 2007 and it was a royal wedding that happened in Mumbai. Later, they welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya in 2011. They have always been the happy family and it was always adorable to see their photos. However, since a long time, a lot of stories have been coming out around their separation. The couple was not spotted together for many events. Aishwarya was not seen with the Bachchans many times and this made everyone think that they have separated.
During Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding too, arrived separately with her daughter while the Bachchans arrived separately. This further made the rumours grow. However, recently, we saw the couple posing together for pictures when they came together for an event. This has left everyone confused.
Amid all this confusion, Rohan Sippy, the director of 2003 movie Kuch Naa Kaho has opened up about working with Aishwarya and Abhishek. The movie had them as the leads and was one of the most loved movies. Their chemistry was loved in the film. The filmmaker spoke to Friday Talkies about working with the star couple.
He recalled how Aishwarya was a superstar by the time she did Kuch Naa Kaho and Abhishek was very new in the industry. He shared that Abhishek’s film Refugee had just been released and next was Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai and he was quite fresh that time.
Rohan Sippy had a good informal rapport with him and they had a superstar like Aishwarya in the movie opposite Abhishek. He praised Aishwarya and said that on craft level, there are very few actors like her who are a complete Hindi film heroine package. He has learnt a lot from her and it gave him a lot of confidence that she was ready to listen to him despite being far more experienced.
He also said that she was very supportive on the sets of the film. He added, “Would have been easier for her to tell me that I know how it’s done. But, she was very encouraging and supportive, so these things help. It makes you feel good when you yourself are just beginning.”
