When she was asked if there was any animosity between the two, Rani had seemed to confirm the reports and said, “And you know the reasons for it.” Karan further probed and indirectly revealed the reason behind their fallout. He asked her “Chalte Chalte bata do”. To this, Rani responded saying, “I have no problems with anybody, and I still like I don’t have any personal problem with Aish. I think may be Aish might be having a problem because she stopped talking on the phone. And I haven’t met her socially anywhere, but I guess when we will meet, I think we will be very cordial with each other.”
For the unversed, the reports of fallout between the two ladies began after Rani Mukerji replaced Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in ‘s movie Chalte Chalte. Reports suggest that created a scene on the sets of Chalte Chalte and since Shah Rukh Khan was one of the producers of the movie, a call was taken to replace Aishwarya Rai. The actress was shocked and hurt to know that it was her BFF Rani who picked up the role, say reports. This was after Rani had stated that she will forever remain friends with Aishwarya Rai on Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai.
Later, Aishwarya and Rani’s friendship was once again in the news when the former got married to Abhishek Bachchan. In one of the interviews with Filmfare, Rani was asked about the same. She replied saying, “You may be deluded and think you are friends but maybe the friendship was only restricted to being co-stars on the sets. It doesn’t matter.
