Asim Riaz is one of the most popular faces in the industry. He has been in the news for his controversial statements and fights with other celebrities. The model-turned-actor, who made headlines last year after his mid-season exit from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, is back in news. As per reports, Asim has now been thrown out from Battleground, another reality show following an intense on-set spat.
According to a report by India Today, things took an ugly turn during Thursday’s shoot when a disagreement between Asim and fellow judge Abhishek Malhan took place. Their chat started as a casual exchange which soon turned into an ugly spat. The situation turned worse when Rubina Dilaik tried to mediate but Asim insulted her, as per sources claim.
A crew member of the reality show claimed that the altercation brought the shoot to a sudden halt. He said, “Everyone rushed to their vanity vans and the filming was called off immediately.” After the incident, Asim was allegedly asked to step down from the show. However, there is no official confirmation about the same. If reports are to be believed then his his team is currently in talks with the producers to sort things out.
A few days back, videos of Asim and Rubina getting into a spat went viral on the social media. In the video, Asim made fun of Rubina by calling her a ‘TV actor’ which didn’t go down well with her! For the unversed, it happened when Rubina told Asim not to demoralize his team member, but to guide them. Asim lashed out at her and told her that it was not a serial. Rubina reacted to this by saying that he was crossing the bounds of courtesy. Shikhar Dhawan, the show’s judge, asked Asim to apologise to Rubina for his remark.
This is the second major fallout from a reality show and fans are wondering what will happen next.
