She is loved and adored by her fans for being Anupamaa. However, this time she is in the news because of her personal life. She is married to Ashwin Verma and it is his third marriage. Now, Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter Esha Verma has made some shocking allegations against her. It reportedly started with a social media post and now in interviews, she is making more shocking allegations.
In an interview with site with Bollywood Bubble, Esha Verma hasn’t just spoken about but has even made some shocking remarks against father Ashwin Verma. During the interview, Esha Verma stated that she was devastated and crying in high school because Rupali Ganguly deliberately entered their lives and broker her parent’s marriage. She even claimed that the actress ‘physically hit my mother in person in Mumbai’. She then also accused her father for being an abusive man. She was quoted saying, “I’m not pinpointing just Rupali here; I have also gathered the strength to say that it is my father’s fault. He was also a very abusive man physically and emotionally so it’s a two-party street. At first, when this news went viral, I was really scared; he told me to take down the post.”
Esha Verma further went on to add that her father tried to shut her down whenever she tried to open up. All she wanted was love, respect and connection with father but for past 20 years, there has been none. She also added, “After my father had told me to take down the post, I just reflected and suffered on my own my entire life… Why should I listen to a man who never supported us and put women who he had an affair with and put his wife first.”
Rupali Ganguly has maintained stoic silence over the controversy. She hasn’t commented anything yet. Ashwin Verma though made a post on social media saying that he is sad to see anyone being pulled into into ‘cycle of negativity’.
