His chemistry with Khushi in the trailer looked amazing. During the trailer launch of the film, we saw speaking about his son, . He spoke about his son’s performance in Maharaj. He said that he really liked Junaid’s performance in Maharaj.

He said that he felt like it was more or less at the same level of work that he did in his debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. He then said that Junaid ka performance in the climax scene was very good. He added, “Mujhe bhi laga usne kai scenes bohot ache kiye. Like climax. But kahi pe mujhe laga, ki ye scene wo better kar sakta tha. Yaha pe thoda kachcha hai. Toh I could not say it was a flawless performance. As a father also I’m telling you. It was very similar. Mujhe laga maine jis level ka kaam kiya hai pehli film mein, more or less wohi kiya hai. So hopefully aage badhke wo bhi seekhega aur better ho jayega.”
