Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal gave fans a special Diwali surprise this year by sharing a family photograph with their son, Vihaan Kaushal.
The picture, posted on 8 November, 2026, offered the first clear public glimpse of the couple’s little boy, who has largely remained away from the spotlight since his birth.
The actors shared the photograph on social media along with a festive message. Their caption read, “Our brightest Diwali yet… ❤️✨ Wishing everyone love, light and happiness. – Vicky, Katrina & Vihaan (sic)”.
The photograph quickly became a talking point, as fans finally got to see the face of the couple’s son. While Katrina and had previously shared his name and a photograph of his tiny hand, they had not publicly shown his face.
The family also caught attention with their colour-coordinated traditional outfits.
Katrina Kaif chose a bright yellow zari suit for the occasion. The festive outfit featured gold detailing, giving her look a traditional touch. Vicky Kaushal, meanwhile, wore an off-white beige kurta paired with matching pyjamas.
Their son Vihaan was dressed in an off-white kurta-pyjama set, which was paired with a yellow waistcoat. His outfit complemented Katrina’s yellow ensemble, while also matching the lighter shades worn by his father.
The family photograph offered a rare glimpse into their celebrations at home.
Katrina and Vicky welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on 7 November 2025. The actors announced the news through a joint social media post, describing his arrival as a moment of gratitude.
In January 2026, the couple revealed their son’s name as Vihaan Kaushal. They also shared their first photograph of him at the time, although the picture only showed his tiny hand held by his parents.
The name Vihaan has origins and means dawn or the beginning of a new day. It also attracted attention because Vicky played Major Vihaan Singh Shergill in his 2019 film .
Since announcing his birth, the actors have largely kept their son out of public view. They have shared limited details about their family life, making the photograph a notable moment for their followers.
