Arvind Fashions, which houses popular apparel brands such as US Polo Assn, Arrow, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Flying Machine, reported a 29 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹48.5 crore in the second quarter of FY27, aided by stronger retail sales, improved margins and growth in direct-to-consumer channels.
The Ahmedabad-based fashion retailer’s revenue from operations rose 10 per cent year-on-year to ₹1,559 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2026, up from ₹ 1,418 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company attributed its performance to a 15 per cent growth in its retail channel and continued momentum in online direct-to-consumer sales. Direct channels accounted for 53 per cent of total revenue, up around 380 basis points year-on-year.
Retail like-to-like (LTL) growth stood at 7.3 per cent, while online business-to-consumer (B2C) sales increased approximately 28 per cent. Adjusted for the shift in the festival calendar and online platform sales events, retail LTL growth was 10 per cent and online B2C growth was 45 per cent.
“Q2 delivered another quarter of profitable growth, with revenue up 10 per cent and EBITDA up 15.5 per cent. Adjusted for the shift in the festival season and online tower events, underlying growth was about 15 per cent, in line with our guidance,” said Amisha Jain, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Arvind Fashions, which positions itself as India’s leading casual and denim player, has built a portfolio spanning premium, aspirational and mass-market apparel. Its brand portfolio includes US Polo Assn., known for casualwear and sportswear; Arrow, which focuses on formal and smart-casual clothing; Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein in the premium lifestyle segment; and homegrown brand Flying Machine, which targets younger consumers with a denim-led offering. The company added 24 exclusive brand outlets during the quarter, taking its total EBO count to 1,044 as of September 2026. Net retail space addition stood at around 26,000 sq ft. Its adjacent categories recorded 13 per cent growth during the quarter.
Looking ahead, the company has set a revenue growth target of 12-15 per cent for FY27, focusing on expanding direct channels, strengthening its presence across five key apparel categories — shirts, polos, denim, T-shirts and blazers — and accelerating growth in adjacent categories. It also plans to add around 150 stores on a gross basis during the financial year, largely through the franchise-owned, franchise-operated model. The company said it would continue to monitor macroeconomic factors, including inflation, geopolitical developments, the potential El Niño effect and changes in repo rates, while focusing on profitable growth, consumer engagement and operational efficiencies.
