Advanced medical device provider Healthware on Tuesday announced a collaboration with Fujifilm, a global diagnostics and optical technology firm, to widen the use of intra-operative ultrasound systems across India to meet critical clinical needs in complex surgeries.
“Partnering with Fujifilm, a name synonymous with imaging excellence, lets us bring real-time surgical ultrasound to more operating rooms across India, and that is a responsibility we take seriously,” Healthware Director K Tarun Narayan said in a statement.
The partnership will improve access to real-time intra-operative ultrasound across India, enabling precise anatomical identification, tumour assessment and surgical navigation, backed by Healthware’s pan-India service and clinical support network.
“Our partnership with Healthware marks an important step towards advancing surgical ultrasound solutions in India, bringing real-time imaging closer to the operating room. By combining technological innovation with clinical expertise, we aim to empower healthcare professionals with greater confidence in decision-making and contribute to better patient outcomes,” Fujifilm India Managing Director Koji Wada added.
