Myntra has recorded over 30 per cent growth in order volumes this fiscal year, alongside a 30 per cent expansion in its customer base in the current calendar year so far, as the fashion e-commerce platform sees shoppers trade up to premium products and uses artificial intelligence (AI) to improve personalisation and conversion, Sharon Pais, Head of Myntra, said.
The platform is set to touch 100 million monthly active users during the festive season, with Gen Z accounting for about half of its customer base, Pais said, adding that growth in customers was translating into higher order volumes.
“Our customer growth is north of 30 per cent this year and this is, you know, the highest since the pandemic,” she said.
Myntra has also seen premiumisation among metro and premium shoppers, who are opting for products with higher average order values compared with the opening of last year’s festive season. Shoppers from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities accounted for more than half of orders on the first day of its Big Fashion Festival, while demand from the eastern region was seven times business-as-usual levels.
The platform’s focus on selection, speed and customer experience has helped it gain market share, Pais said. AI-led personalisation is emerging as another growth lever, with Myntra seeing 20 per cent higher conversion in 2026 compared with earlier periods as it uses technology to address customer concerns around size, fit and styling.
The company has also reduced seller onboarding time from 10-15 days to under two days, while catalogue generation time has fallen from a day to four hours.
On faster deliveries, Myntra’s M-Now service is live in more than 12 cities, focusing on locations with sufficient demand density to support dark stores. The service is seeing twice the usual order volumes, with further spikes expected around festive occasions as consumers make last-minute purchases. Outside these markets, M-Express delivers nearly half of Myntra’s orders within 48 hours across 600 cities.
Meanwhile, Myntra Designs Private Ltd reported revenue from operations of ₹5,242.5 crore in FY26, down from ₹6,063.8 crore in FY25, according to its Registrar of Companies filing. Excluding logistics and shipping services, revenue grew 12 per cent to ₹4,123.3 crore, driven by a 35.2 per cent increase in advertising revenue to ₹1,236.4 crore.
The entity reported a loss before tax of ₹441.9 crore. Total expenses rose marginally by 0.6 per cent to ₹5,757.7 crore.
*Consolidated financial view post redomiciliation*
Pais cautioned against comparing Myntra’s FY26 standalone financials directly with the previous year’s numbers following Flipkart Group’s redomiciliation, which moved businesses under Flipkart Internet. “Following Flipkart Group redomiciliation last fiscal year, businesses have moved under Flipkart Internet and therefore the consolidated group financials for FY26 are the accurate reflection of ghe oerformance across entities, including Myntra.’’ She said.
“At a consolidated group level, revenue has grown 18 per cent, gross margin has grown 23 per cent, which is obviously reflecting improved unit economics,” she said.
