Tommy Paul moved into the quarterfinals of the 2026 Rolex Shanghai Masters with a hard-fought win over Zizou Bergs on Stadium Court. The American, seeded 15th, edged the Belgian in straight sets after Bergs had stunned Carlos Alcaraz earlier in the week. Paul took the first set 7-6(5) in a tense tiebreak and closed out the second set 6-4 to complete the victory, extending his head-to-head edge to 2-0 after a dominant 6-1, 6-2 win at Indian Wells in March.
