Chalet Hotels is expanding its portfolio under its Athiva brand by adding two properties in Pune and Hyderabad, the company announced on Thursday.
These will add 381 keys in two cities in the next 3-5 years and will help Chalet Hotels to consolidate its presence in key commercial hubs in the country.
The company launched the Athiva brand last October targeting affluent Indians and millenials. In the first phase Dukes Retreat in Khandala transtitioned to the new brand. The company is also constructing a 205 keys resort at Varca in South Goa and this will be completed by FY28.
Speaking on the development, Chalet Hotels managing director Shwetank Singh said this will increase the company’s total inventory including pipeline to 5,500 keys.
